Frequently asked questions
Can I host the photoshoot at my home?
Yes, absolutely. It’s important that your dog or new puppy feels relaxed and more importantly has fun throughout the shoot. If you feel that your home surroundings would be the best location for your photoshoot, we’re more than happy to come to you with the pop up studio!
My dog can sometimes be a bit naughty – does that matter?
That’s absolutely fine – please don’t worry! I’ve worked with dogs of all behavior levels and to be honest, madness is part of the fun!
Using lots of tried and tested methods (plus plenty of treats), we’ll work together to ensure we capture plenty of stunning pictures of your dog, no matter how naughty they choose to be on the day.
I have more than one dog – can I still have a photoshoot?
Absolutely – it’s as important to me as it is to you that the shoot captures your whole family. It’s worth noting though, that there will be an additional charge for more dogs, so please just note this at point of booking
Who will own the copyright to the images?
The copyright will be retained by furry visuals LLC Photography. Any digital files that you purchase, either as part of or in addition to your package, will be yours to print and post online as you wish. But you would not be able to submit the photos into competitions or re-sell them yourself, without my express permission.

Can I be in the photos with my dog?
Yes – in fact I would encourage you to be in some of the shots with your dog! The special bond between a dog and their owner is heartwarming to see and a pleasure to photograph. Plus it makes your lasting piece of artwork even more special.
If you have children who would like to take part in the shoot, then we’d welcome them to take part as well.

How long will it take for me to receive my photos?
After the session, I will process, edit and prepare your photos. I will then send you a link to your online gallery, which is personal to you. This process should take no longer than 1 week.
Are the photoshoots fun?
Yes – making the photoshoots fun for you and your dog is one of the most important factors.
It's a play time game!
As well as the physical photos, the shoot should be a chance for you to capture mental memories of a time when you and your dog had a great experience.
How long will the photoshoot last?
Your dog’s photoshoot should last anywhere between 1 and 2 hours depending on the package you choose. But please don’t worry; I’ll take as long or as little as you need to get the perfect shots.
What areas do you cover?
While our studio is in Los Angeles (Burnank), I operate across Greater LA.

What payment methods do you take?
I am happy to accept all payment methods including Zelle and PayPal and apple Pay.

How long does it take to see my pictures after the photoshoot?
It will take 5 to 7 days for the editing – Once I have finish I will email you the link of your gallery with your password via Client area.
Following your package you will choose your digital images + the frame 8x10
Is the deposit is refundable?
Typically, the deposit for booking photography is non refundable; however, there might be exceptions to this rule. For example, if a situation arises, like your faithful furry friend unexpectedly cross the rainbow bridge..

Please download all images and make backups.
To download all full size images from pictime you will be receiving a link plus accesscode to view the entire gallery online and decide what pictures you want to have edited in placing them in a separate folder that can be accessed through me
No sales tax on digital media:
All images are only delivered electronically through the internet.
If I give you the files myself in any tangible physical form including copying from my computer to your flash drive I would need to collect state tax on the entire cost of the shoot.
Electronic transfer of digital images delivered through the internet is non taxable in California the shoot is then a service and not a retail transaction.

Images may be used for all casting purposes, self promotion, personal websites and personal social media.
Use of images by third party productions, promotions, publications, press announcements, films, videos, print, music, products, advertisements, news media, any 3rd party website, or any commercial use requires a signed release agreement by Patrick Roth Photography and must have consent by persons in image.

Booking Reschedule Policy
100 deposit required to confirm appointment and hold date/time.
Deposit required within 3 days from day deposit link is sent.
Only make a deposit if an available calendar date has been communicated.
Deposit goes towards total.
Balance is due at the end of the shoot, credit card, debit card, apple pay, no checks, no venmo, no paypal.
Deposits are non refundable.
Recommend booking out with reps to avoid conflict.
Deposit is transferable one time to reschedule.
2nd reschedule requires new 200 deposit.
3rd reschedule requires paid in full in advance.
